Penance is a 2020 British psychological thriller based on the 2016 novel of the same name. A mother and daughter's lives are changed forever when they meet Jed, a beautiful, charismatic young man at bereavement counselling.

Rosalie has lost her son. She's in a fog of grief and denial, her marriage to Luke under intense strain. Jed moves into their lives and ultimately their home.
